Not all roles in IT are technology focused, but skills like paying attention to detail and accurately capturing information are a part of technical acumen needed in many non-technical roles, like auditors as an example. There are many areas of IT that are far more process focused like Governance, Regulatory and Compliance (GRC) or Identity and Access Management (IAM) lifecycle management as examples.

That really depends on where you want your career to go. We strongly recommend searching through job posting and investigating roles that look interesting to you and seeing what certifications come up most often as requirements for those roles. Yes, you need to to your research! We encourage professionals to "Learn to Earn". Spend time learning about things that you are curious about that will get you to the next level of your career. Working smart, is easier than working hard.
